We have listed some of our dance workshops for schools styles and themes below. Over the years we have worked with many schools who have built our Dance Day workshops into the school curriculum and more recently we have been involved with various themed day/weeks such as International, Multicultural, Healthy, Arts and Sports.
Our workshops are flexible, you could have a whole day of 1 theme or you can pick n mix various topics and styles to build the ideal Dance Day.
Dancing over the last few years has become even more popular with many different television shows featuring dance.
This workshop will give your pupils the chance to learn different styles of dance from the Ballroom, these include The Waltz, Tango and many more.
It also encourages pupils to work as a team and in partners to score the perfect 10!
From West End to Broadway this workshop embraces current and past musicals. Our teachers have performed in many musicals themselves and have the knowledge to inspire and bring lots of fun to your school day. There are many musical workshops to chose from including Matilda, Mary Poppins, The Lion King, We Will Rock You and many more upon request.
This is great workshop where your pupils get to learn about dance styles from times gone by.
We cover the decades from the 1920’s through to the 1980’s and these include dance styles such as The Charleston, Swing, Rock n Roll, Jive and Disco.
We have also used this workshop to help celebrate a school anniversary.
This workshop is a great link to historical topics including dances from The Victorians, Tudors and Viking periods.
