World Dance Styles Workshops for Schools

Dance Days provide a number of World dance styles that can be used for your International Dance Workshop.
Take a look at the countries/continents and dance styles below, you can pick n mix all of these styles (and our European styles) to build your very own Dance Day.

Africa - Covering various styles from countries within Africa including tribal dance and gumboot.
Argentina - Give Tango a go with our Strictly Dance Workshop.
Asia - Including China, Malaysia and Thailand.
Australia & New Zealand - Try out Aboriginal dance or the powerful Haka dance.
Brazil - Explore the colourful Rio carnival.
Cuba - Salsa from the streets of Cuba and Latin America.
India - Traditional Indian dance or upbeat Bollywood.
Mexico - Travel back in time and be part of a tribe with some ceremonial dancing.
USA - A mix of styles that include cheerleading, street dance and line dancing.

Jerounds Primary Academy

For more than 10 years, Darren has been working with us to support our annual Around the World week. He never fails to amaze us with the engagement he prompts from ALL children. From booking to delivery the whole Dance Days team are wonderful and make everything so easy. Our Year 6 classes were so dispondent when they realised that, after 7 years, this was their last year with Darren. Would highly recommend and will be booking for next year in the near future.

East Markham Primary School

We had Carys come and visit our Primary school for a themed Spanish day! She was amazing with all the children from nursery age to Year 6. The children thoroughly enjoyed the session. The sessions were all tailored for the appropriate ages and Carys interacted really well with everyone. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone thinking of booking a theme dance day!
