We've made it, and have no plans to stop dancing! Like you, we've had to adapt, innovate and we've kept dancing.
Here's a recap of all of our positive news over the last year or so:
We continue to work with our existing and loyal schools, and they have really supported over the last 10 months, so a huge thank you! Due to the pandemic, we were able to work with even more new schools through the power of the internet, Zoom, Google Meets, Microsoft Teams, I think we have used them all, and our kitchen (AKA our lockdown dance studio) has never seen so much dancing. It's crazy, in a way, remote working as actually extended our reach, and we've been able to work with schools across the UK!
As the business has grown, we have gone from Dance Days to Dance Days Limited, and we now have more resources within the office to handle your enquiries and bookings even quicker. We are working with more fantastic dance teachers, and they will help us provide more schools with our dance workshops!!
We have also created Dance Days TV, this is a set of our most popular dance workshops, which are hosted via video. There are 14 dance workshop styles to choose from, all houses in an easy-to-use system (like Netflix) and in our first term back, we have helped a further 11,000 children dance!!! It's great to see some of the children who have access to this, even using outside of the school day and at weekends!
In the last 8 years, we helped educate over 182,000 children. That's a lot of dancing and great to see so many schools are including dance as part of their curriculum, the pupils really enjoy something different and the chance to experience a new type of PE.
We will continue to focus on collecting feedback and reviews from schools, as this helps us evaluate the workshops we deliver and monitor the quality the team produce.
We couldn't continue to grow without the support from the teaching community and appreciate budgets can be tight, so remember that we do offer a school to school referral scheme if you shout about Dance Days there are saving's to be had.
