Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week - May 2022. Take part in a positive and energetic dance workshop to promote Mental Health Awareness Week!

When is
Mental Health Awareness Week
?
May 2023

Mental Health Awareness Week highlights the importance of Mental Health and encourages creativity and positivity. Dance can be used to encourage children to improve their mental health and build self confidence. It is so important for children to be supported and have an awareness of mental health as they grow up and develop. Dancing gives the children new found skills and this can help their confidence blossom whilst being able to learn new dance moves.

This dance workshop is none competitive so that every member of the class can be involved and helps build team working skills as well as encouraging the children to connect and share ideas with each other. Dancing is great fun and will get the children active which helps with their physical and mental wellbeing.

The workshop can be built to your own specification and we can showcase dance topics such as Musicals, Street Dance or even Strictly!

Mental Health Awareness Week takes place in May, however, this workshop can be booked at any time throughout the year to link in with your school's teaching schedule.
